Ben Gvir Demands Security Ministry, Gottlieb Justice Ministry in Next Term
National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir announced Tuesday that his party, Otzma Yehudit, will demand the Security and Justice portfolios in the next government. Ben Gvir stated he would seek the Security Ministry for himself, while MK Tali Gottlieb would be put forward for the Justice Ministry.

MK Gottlieb presented her legal reform agenda, which begins with the immediate dismissal of the current Attorney General as the first step of a future government. Other proposed reforms include appointing Supreme Court justices only after a hearing by the Knesset's Constitution Committee and a two-thirds majority approval, "returning the High Court of Justice to its natural purpose," and reforming the legal treatment of criminal organizations and terrorists.
