Massive Explosions Rock Syrian Ammunition Depot South of Aleppo

A series of intense explosions occurred overnight at a Syrian Ministry of Defense ammunition depot in the Al-Eis area, south of Aleppo. Social media footage showed repeated blasts, flames, and smoke rising from the site. Initial reports indicate four people were injured, and Syrian emergency forces evacuated nearby families. Major roads, including the one connecting Aleppo and Damascus, were temporarily closed due to fears of secondary explosions and falling debris.

Israel has denied any involvement in the incident. However, a source close to the administration of "terrorist" Ahmed Al-Shar'a stated that authorities are investigating the possibility of Israeli involvement. As of now, no evidence has been presented to confirm an Israeli attack, and the Syrian Ministry of Defense has not determined the cause of the explosion.

This event is the latest in a string of explosions at military facilities and weapons storage sites across Syria in recent weeks. According to Reuters, this marks the fourth explosion this month at a weapons storage site. In some previous incidents, Syrian authorities attributed the blasts to storage conditions, fires, or aging ammunition, while other causes remain unexplained.
