Toddler Rushed to Hospital in Critical Condition After Not Waking Up
Emergency medical teams responded to a call in the Haredi neighborhood of Beit Shemesh on Sunday morning after a three-year-old boy failed to wake up from his sleep. The child was found unresponsive and medical personnel immediately began resuscitation efforts at the scene.
Paramedics transported the toddler to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem. He remained in critical condition throughout the evacuation, with medical teams continuing life-saving procedures during the transport.
According to Moche Shechter and brothers Asher and Yaakov Yungreis, paramedics from United Hatzalah's "Koach Hatzala" unit, the child's family reported that he had not awakened from his sleep. "We performed resuscitation efforts on him and he was evacuated for further medical treatment at the hospital with his condition defined as critical," they stated.
