Two Children Hospitalized in Separate Incidents in Beit Shemesh

Emergency responders in Beit Shemesh treated two children in separate incidents over the weekend. On Friday night, paramedics from MDA and the 'Zomet Hatzala' organization were called to a home in Ramah G' after a 13-year-old boy suddenly collapsed during the Sabbath meal. He was found unconscious and not breathing. Advanced resuscitation efforts, including CPR, ventilation, and defibrillation, were performed. The boy's heart resumed beating, and he regained consciousness before being transported by a mobile intensive care unit to the trauma unit at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem.

In a separate incident on Saturday afternoon, emergency teams responded to a report of a fall from a height in Ramah D'. They found a 2-year-old toddler with a head injury, apparently after falling approximately 2 meters (6.5 feet). The toddler was conscious but disoriented. After receiving initial medical treatment at the scene, he was taken to the trauma unit at Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem, where his condition was described as moderate.
