Israel Weather Forecast: Warm Temperatures Persist Through Weekend
Israel is expected to experience continued warm weather on Saturday, September 19th, with temperatures remaining largely unchanged. Inland areas will feel more autumnal, while the coastal regions will remain hot. Sea temperatures are forecast to reach up to 30 degrees Celsius in the Mediterranean and the Sea of Galilee, with moderate to stormy waves ranging from 70 to 130 cm in the Mediterranean and 40 to 70 cm in the Sea of Galilee. The Red Sea in Eilat will be slightly cooler at 27 degrees Celsius with weak waves of 20 to 40 cm.
Air temperatures will vary across the country. Jerusalem will see highs of 27°C and lows of 17°C. Tel Aviv, Netanya, Haifa, and Ashdod will reach 30°C during the day and around 21-24°C at night. Higher temperatures are predicted for cities like Afula, Tiberias, Kiryat Shmona, and Beersheba, with daytime highs of 32°C. Eilat is expected to be the hottest location, with a daytime temperature of 36°C and a nighttime low of 26°C. Ein Gedi on the Dead Sea will experience highs of 34°C.
Looking ahead, a slight increase in temperature is anticipated for inland areas on Sunday and Monday.
