Teen Released with Restrictions After Stolen Military Rocket Fired in Kfar Qassem

Central District Police and Border Police National Guard forces raided compounds in Jaljulia as part of an investigation into the firing of a stolen military anti-tank missile at a residential area in Kfar Qassem earlier this week. A minor was arrested on suspicion of involvement in the incident and subsequently released under restrictive conditions.

During the raids, officers searched several locations in Jaljulia, uncovering two hidden handguns, ammunition, and other items. The investigation focused on the firing of the LAW missile, which occurred on Wednesday. No injuries were reported, and police have determined the motive to be criminal.

Kfar Qassem police initiated a search for suspects following the incident, collecting evidence from the scene for forensic analysis. Detectives, intelligence investigators, and Border Police units executed search warrants at multiple sites in Jaljulia.

In one location, a Beretta handgun was found concealed in a kitchen double wall. Another FN handgun was discovered hidden in an attic. Authorities also seized a drum magazine, additional magazines, and ammunition. In a separate compound, investigators used engineering tools to find and confiscate 14 cameras, some of which were positioned to overlook public spaces. These cameras were transferred to the Kfar Qassem station for further investigation.

The arrested minor, a resident of the Jaljulia area, was brought before a judge. Despite the police request to extend his detention, the court ordered his release under restrictive conditions.
