Police Raid Jalljuliya After Stolen Military Rocket Launcher Fired

Israeli police and National Guard forces conducted a large-scale raid in Jalljuliya, a town in central Israel, following the firing of a stolen military rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) at a residential compound in the nearby town of Kafr Qasim. The incident, which occurred within a criminal context related to ongoing blood feuds in the area, resulted in no casualties but prompted a focused security operation.

During the searches, executed under court orders, officers discovered well-hidden weapons. These included a "Beretta" pistol concealed within a double-walled kitchen compartment and an FN pistol hidden in an attic. Authorities also confiscated a drum magazine, standard magazines, and a significant quantity of ammunition.

Additionally, police used engineering tools to seize 14 surveillance cameras that monitored public spaces, believed to be used for illicit surveillance. As part of the operation, a minor resident of the area was arrested on suspicion of direct involvement in firing the RPG. The suspect was brought before a judge, who ordered their release under restrictive conditions. The investigation into the incident and the seized weapons is ongoing at the Kafr Qasim police station.
