Israeli Police Seize Stolen IDF Weapons in Ramla Apartment Raid

Israeli police detectives from the Central District and canine unit officers discovered a cache of stolen military weapons in a residential building shelter in Ramla on Monday morning. The seized arsenal included a LAW rocket launcher, four pistols, and four fragmentation grenades, all suspected to have been stolen from the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). A man in his twenties from Lod was arrested on suspicion of possessing these weapons. He is scheduled to appear in the Rishon Lezion Magistrate's Court the following day for a detention extension hearing as the investigation continues. All confiscated weapons were transferred to the Israeli Police forensic laboratories for further evidence processing. Central District Commander, Commissioner Amir Cohen, praised the operation as a significant achievement, emphasizing that removing these dangerous weapons from the streets prevents their use in serious criminal offenses.
