Hezbollah Fires More Than 50 Rounds at IDF Forces in Southern Lebanon
Hezbollah launched more than 50 projectiles overnight at Israel Defense Forces troops operating in southern Lebanon, in several separate incidents. The IDF said the attacks amounted to repeated violations of the ceasefire agreement.
In response, the IDF struck dozens of Hezbollah terror targets and operatives, including rocket launch positions, weapons depots and command posts. The military said it would not accept harm to Israeli civilians or its forces.
The IDF added that it would respond forcefully to any use of violence against Israel. The exchange came as Israeli forces continued operating in southern Lebanon during the night.
