SAS Scandinavian Airlines Halts Direct Flights to Tel Aviv

Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) has unexpectedly removed direct flights between Copenhagen and Tel Aviv from its booking system, flights that were scheduled to resume on October 26. Tickets for these routes were available just two days prior, but as of Wednesday morning, they disappeared from both the airline's website and travel agency systems. Passengers seeking flights on October 26 are now only offered options with layovers. SAS had announced its return to Israel approximately ten days ago, planning to operate four weekly flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The airline has not yet issued an official statement regarding the route's cancellation. While SAS's website still indicates it offers flights to Tel Aviv, the planned direct flights are absent from the booking system. SAS had previously resumed flights to Israel in October 2025 after a hiatus of over a decade, but suspended operations in the Middle East again several months later.
