Ten Illegal Immigrants and Driver Arrested Near Jerusalem
On Monday evening, IDF observers from Unit 636, operating in the Jerusalem Envelope area, identified ten suspects crossing the border from the Bir Nabala area into Israeli territory. Following the report, Border Police (Magav) forces from the Jerusalem Envelope unit were dispatched. They utilized advanced technological and operational measures in close cooperation with the observers.
The forces located the suspects as they were boarding a vehicle to escape. They blocked the vehicle and stopped it for inspection. It was discovered that all ten suspects were residents of the territories who were in Israel without the required entry or residency permits.
The vehicle's driver was also arrested on suspicion of transporting illegal immigrants. All suspects and the driver were transferred for further investigation by the Jerusalem Envelope Border Police.
