Palestinian Indicted for Hamas Propaganda and Glorifying Violence

Authorities in the Samaria region of the Judea and Samaria District have indicted a Palestinian man in his twenties from the village of Bardala for inciting terrorism. The investigation revealed that the defendant expressed support for the Hamas terror organization and its actions through his online publications. Among his posts, he shared a video during the past month that included footage of an explosion hitting an IDF tank in Gaza, bearing the Hamas logo, followed by clips from the October 7th Hamas massacre, showing terrorists boarding a burning Israeli tank and abducting a wounded soldier.

Following the investigation and the gathering of evidence, an indictment was filed against him for inciting and supporting a hostile organization. In a separate incident, a resident of the Palestinian village of Rifat was arrested on suspicion of incitement on social media. His recent posts praised terrorists responsible for a firebombing attack at the Gilad Farm, naming them as martyrs. He also called for fighting against Israel, to "end Zionism," advocating self-sacrifice and expressing admiration for Saddam Hussein.

This individual was transferred for investigation at the Binyamin police station and is currently detained, with his investigation ongoing. Israeli police emphasized their commitment to monitoring, identifying, and prosecuting anyone who identifies with, supports, encourages, or incites terrorism and violence, stating they will utilize all available means to prevent the dissemination of such content. The police reiterated their firm stance on pursuing those who incite violence to ensure justice is served.
