Palestinians Arrested, Charged for Praising Terror, Inciting Violence Online

A Palestinian resident of the village of Rifat was arrested on suspicion of inciting terrorism on social media. According to the police, the suspect praised terrorists, called for conflict and fighting against Israel, and wrote that Zionism must be "brought to an end." The suspect was detained for investigation and subsequently imprisoned, with the investigation ongoing.

In a separate incident, an indictment was filed against a Palestinian man in his 20s from the village of Bardala. Police allege that he published content supporting Hamas and the October 7th attack. The indictment states that the accused expressed solidarity with Hamas and support for the organization's actions in his publications. This included uploading a video montage featuring a Hamas symbol over footage of an IDF tank being destroyed in Gaza, followed by scenes from the October 7th attack showing terrorists on a burning IDF tank and a wounded soldier being abducted.

The police stated that operations against incitement and support for terrorism online are continuing in cooperation with security agencies. They vowed to locate and investigate individuals suspected of publishing content that encourages terrorism and violence.
