Israeli Star Dor Turgeman Outshines Lewandowski in MLS Victory

Israeli national team forward Dor Turgeman delivered a standout performance, scoring a goal and providing an assist to lead the New England Revolution to a 2-1 away victory over the Chicago Fire. The match, played in front of nearly 27,000 fans, was anticipated to feature Polish star Robert Lewandowski, one of history's greatest strikers, who was aiming for his fourth consecutive game with a goal.

Instead, Turgeman stole the show. After a two-game scoring drought, the Israeli forward was instrumental throughout the match. In the 39th minute, he capitalized on a long pass, outmaneuvered defender Sam Rogers, and scored one-on-one against goalkeeper Chris Brady. Just after halftime, in the 47th minute, Turgeman again received a through ball, drove into the box, and set up Peyton Miller for the Revolution's second goal.

The Chicago Fire managed to pull one goal back in the 62nd minute, but it wasn't enough.
