Dor Turgeman Stars With Goal and Assist in New England Revolution Victory

Israeli forward Dor Turgeman continued his impressive form in Major League Soccer (MLS) on Sunday night, scoring a goal and providing an assist to lead the New England Revolution to a 2-1 victory over the Chicago Fire. Turgeman, who has been increasingly finding his rhythm in the league, was instrumental in his team's win against a Chicago side that featured Polish star Robert Lewandowski.

Turgeman opened the scoring in the 39th minute, finding himself alone with the goalkeeper and firing a powerful shot into the far corner. Shortly after halftime, in the 41st minute, he made a strong run down the left wing and delivered a sharp cross that found teammate Peyton Miller, who tapped in for a 2-0 lead.

Chicago managed to pull one goal back in the 62nd minute through Myerén Haile-Selassie, but Robert Lewandowski played the full 90 minutes without scoring. Turgeman was substituted in the 81st minute, replaced by his Israeli teammate, Eli Feingold.

This performance marked Turgeman's 7th goal and 5th assist in 25 appearances this season. He received the highest rating among all players on the field. Turgeman was acquired from Maccabi Tel Aviv in the summer of 2025 for $4.7 million.

The win propelled Turgeman, Feingold, and the New England Revolution to third place in the MLS standings, securing an automatic spot in the round of 16 for the playoffs.
