Dor Turgeman Stars With Goal and Assist in New England Revolution Victory

Israeli forward Dor Turgeman continued his impressive form in Major League Soccer (MLS) on Sunday night, scoring a goal and providing an assist to lead the New England Revolution to a 2-1 victory over the Chicago Fire. Turgeman, who has been increasingly finding his rhythm in the league, was instrumental in his team's win.

The scoring opened in the 39th minute when Turgeman found himself one-on-one with the goalkeeper and powerfully struck the ball into the far corner. Shortly after halftime, in the 47th minute, Turgeman made a strong run down the left wing and delivered a sharp cross that met Peyton Miller's foot, allowing him to tap in New England's second goal.

Chicago managed to pull one back in the 62nd minute through Myerén Haile-Selassie. Robert Lewandowski played the full 90 minutes for the Fire but did not score. Turgeman was substituted in the 81st minute, replaced by his Israeli teammate, Eli Feingold.

Turgeman received the highest rating among all players on the field for his performance. This goal marked his seventh of the season and his fifth assist in 25 appearances. He was acquired from Maccabi Tel Aviv in the summer of 2025 for $4.7 million.
