Eran Zahavi Reports Vandalism of Home Internet Cables Amid Neighbor Dispute

Israeli soccer star Eran Zahavi discovered his home's communication infrastructure had been deliberately sabotaged during Rosh Hashanah celebrations at his residence in Savyon. The 39-year-old athlete shared a video on Instagram showing an open communications cabinet with cut cables, which he claims were intentionally severed. Zahavi suspects the motive was to silence music playing during a family gathering.

In a sarcastic Instagram story, Zahavi remarked on the "good people in this country" and expressed his disappointment, stating, "A little music, a little atmosphere with the family on the holiday, so they come and cut the internet wire so we can't listen to music, thank you very much."

Despite the disruption, Zahavi indicated the celebration would continue, humorously suggesting he would need to hire a DJ and hoping the neighbors would enjoy the music. He also clarified that no police complaint regarding music had been filed that day, as no music was played between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM.

This incident echoes a past conflict in 2020 when police were called to Zahavi's home due to neighbor complaints about noise. That event escalated into a physical confrontation, resulting in Zahavi's arrest and transport to the police station.
