Eran Zahavi's Internet Cut by Vandals During Holiday Celebration

Former Israeli soccer star Eran Zahavi reported that vandals cut his home internet connection on Saturday evening during the Jewish holiday. Zahavi, 39, shared a video on Instagram showing the severed cables and an open communications box at his home in the affluent town of Savyon.

In a sarcastic Instagram story, Zahavi expressed his disbelief at the act, writing, "Some people are so good in this country. I am amazed every time. A little music, a little atmosphere with the family on the holiday, so they come and cut the internet wire so we can't listen to music, thank you very much." He added, "No choice, we need to order a DJ. Hope you enjoy the music. Free love and happy holiday, a blessed year to all."

Zahavi clarified in a subsequent story that no police complaint was filed regarding loud music, stating that no music was played between 2 PM and 4 PM that day. This incident echoes a previous controversy in 2020, when neighbors called the police to Zahavi's rented home over complaints of loud music and a party, leading to a public dispute and Zahavi's arrest.

Zahavi's current home is in Savyon, a town known for its high-profile residents. The motive for cutting the internet remains unclear, but Zahavi's comments suggest it was related to holiday music being played.
