Israeli football star Eran Zahavi recounted an unpleasant incident with his neighbors on the first day of the new Hebrew year. Zahavi, the all-time leading scorer for the Israeli national team, shared on social media that his neighbors allegedly cut his internet cable to prevent him from playing music during the holiday.

In a social media story, Zahavi expressed his surprise at the neighbors' actions, sarcastically thanking them and stating, "What good people there are in this country, I am amazed every time anew. A little music, a little atmosphere with the family on the holiday, so they come and cut the internet wire so we can't listen to music. Thank you very much."

Despite the alleged disruption, Zahavi responded with humor and defiance. He announced his intention to hire a DJ, posting, "No choice, we need to order a DJ. Hope you enjoy the music. Free love and happy holiday, a blessed year to everyone."

Zahavi also clarified that no police complaint was filed regarding noise, as there was no music played between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM. The incident highlights a clash between holiday celebrations and neighborly relations.
