Eran Zahavi Claims Internet Cables Cut at Home to Silence Music

Former footballer Eran Zahavi, 39, reported an unusual incident at his home in Savyon on Saturday, claiming unidentified individuals cut his internet cables. Zahavi alleged the act was intended to prevent him and his family from playing music during the holiday.

He shared a video on Instagram showing the damaged communication box and severed cables, reacting with sarcasm. "What good people there are in this country. I am amazed every time," he wrote. Zahavi explained that while he was with his family and music was playing, someone arrived and cut the internet connection.

"A little music, a little atmosphere with the family on the holiday, so they come and cut the internet wire so we can't listen to music, thank you very much," Zahavi added. He sarcastically suggested they would need to hire a DJ and wished everyone a happy holiday and a blessed year. He clarified that no police complaint was filed regarding music, as no music was played between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM.

This incident recalls a previous public altercation involving Zahavi and his neighbors in Savyon in 2020. Police were called to his home then due to complaints about loud music. Zahavi reportedly interfered with officers fulfilling their duties and was subsequently handcuffed and taken to the police station.
