Bnei Sakhnin Signs Ajax Academy Product Leroy Owusu
Israeli football club Bnei Sakhnin has reached an agreement with right-back Leroy Owusu, who previously played for Danish club Odense. Owusu, valued at approximately one million euros by Transfermarkt, has already arrived in Israel and is expected to officially sign with the team coached by Yossi Abuksis.
Owusu is a product of the Ajax youth academy and has extensive experience in European leagues. He has played for FC Dordrecht and Almere City in the Dutch Eredivisie, accumulating 99 appearances in the top Dutch division. In his most recent season with Odense, he scored four goals and provided two assists in 32 matches, demonstrating his offensive capabilities from the right flank, where he can play as either a right-back or a right-sided midfielder.
During his time at Odense, Owusu also served as team captain. The club was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the Danish Cup last season. Owusu is currently a free agent, having completed his time with the Danish club.
