Bnei Sakhnin in Talks to Sign Former Bordeaux Defender Enoch Kwateng
Israeli Premier League club Bnei Sakhnin is reportedly in negotiations to sign French right-back Enoch Kwateng. The move comes as the team seeks to strengthen its squad following an injury to Dimitri Kabre and potential departure of Norberto Carlos.
Kwateng, who previously played for French clubs Bordeaux and Nantes, has extensive experience in Ligue 1, with 101 appearances in the top division. Last season, he played for Bulgarian club Botev Plovdiv, making 24 appearances and scoring four goals.
Bnei Sakhnin aims to bring in a senior player for the right-back position, as only one natural right-back, Mohamed Ganaama, currently remains on the roster. The club had previously trialed defender Guy Herman during the summer.
Kwateng's career includes two goals in Ligue 1 and three in lower French leagues. The club is pursuing him as a free agent.
