Bnei Sakhnin Signs Highly Valued Right-Back Leroy Owusu
Israeli Premier League club Bnei Sakhnin has signed right-back Leroy Owusu, who was previously valued at approximately one million euros by Transfermarkt. Owusu arrived in Israel and has officially agreed to terms with the team managed by Yossi Abukasis.
Owusu has signed a one-year contract with an option for an additional two years. He is a product of the Ajax youth academy and has played for Odense in the Danish league, as well as De Graafschap and Hull City. He joins Bnei Sakhnin as a free agent and brings with him 99 appearances in the Dutch top division.
Represented by agent Ariel Buzorgi, Owusu will officially join the squad after completing his medical examinations. Last season, he scored four goals and provided two assists in 32 appearances, showcasing his versatility as both a right-back and a right-sided midfielder. He also served as captain during the past season, in which his former team was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the Danish Cup.
