Israeli Soccer Players Feyenoord and Ribbo Named to MLS Team of the Week

Israeli soccer players Eli Feyenoord and Thai Ribbo have been selected for the 25th week's MLS Team of the Week following standout performances. Ribbo scored twice in D.C. United's 2-1 victory over Columbus Crew, bringing his season total to 14 goals.

For Feyenoord, this marks a significant milestone as he recently returned from a lengthy injury. Playing for the New England Revolution, Feyenoord made an immediate impact after entering the match against New York City FC in the 72nd minute. With the score tied 1-1 and players tiring, the Israeli defender provided the crucial push for his team.

In the 93rd minute, Feyenoord delivered a cross from the right flank into the box, which Daniel Gazdag controlled with his chest and scored the game-winning goal, securing a 2-1 victory. This dramatic assist earned New England three points and propelled them to third place in the Eastern Conference standings.
