Israeli Soccer Players Shine in European Leagues
Several Israeli soccer players made significant contributions to their teams across European leagues over the weekend. In Serbia, midfielder Moanes Abu Fani was instrumental in Red Star Belgrade's 2-0 victory against TSC Bačka Topola in the seventh round of the Serbian SuperLiga. Abu Fani scored one goal and provided an assist, helping his team maintain a perfect start to the season with five wins from five matches and a commanding lead at the top of the table.
In South Korea's K League 1, forward Abdallah Halil came off the bench in the 82nd minute for Gangwon FC in their 0-0 draw against Pohang Steelers. His team currently sits in fifth place in the league standings.
Meanwhile, defender Ofri Arad played 64 minutes for Romanian club Steaua București in their 3-1 loss to Arad. Arad was on the field alongside teammates Arnold Gruber, who played in the first half, and Dyilan Batubinsika.
