Israeli Soccer Players Shine in European Leagues
Several Israeli soccer players made significant contributions to their teams in European leagues over the weekend. In Serbia, midfielder Moanes Abu Fani was instrumental in Red Star Belgrade's 2-0 victory over TSC Bačka Topola in the seventh round of the Serbian SuperLiga. Abu Fani scored one goal and provided an assist, helping his team maintain a perfect start to the season with five wins from five games and a commanding lead at the top of the table.
In South Korea, Abdallah Chalil came off the bench in the 82nd minute for Gangwon FC in their 0-0 draw against Pohang Steelers in the K League 1. His team currently sits in fifth place in the standings.
Meanwhile, Ofri Arad started for Romanian club Steaua București in their match against FC Argeș. Arad played 64 minutes in the 3-1 loss, alongside teammates Arnold Garita and Dylan Batubinsika, who played in the first half.
