Teenager Revived After Collapsing Unresponsive in Mall Near Bnei Brak
A 13-year-old boy collapsed and lost consciousness, pulse, and breathing inside a store at the Ayalon Mall in Ramat Gan, near Bnei Brak, on Thursday afternoon. Emergency medical responders, including teams from United Hatzalah and Hatzalah, were immediately dispatched to the scene.
According to eyewitnesses, the boy suddenly lost consciousness. First responders Israel Gigi and Haim Meir Levi from United Hatzalah described the initial moments as anxious, noting that the boy was without pulse or breathing. They, along with other medics and paramedics from Hatzalah and Magen David Adom, administered life-saving resuscitation efforts, including chest compressions, artificial respiration, and electric shocks from a defibrillator.
After approximately 50 minutes of intensive resuscitation, the teenager's heart began beating again, and he started breathing independently. The medical teams reported that the boy was stabilized and transported by a mobile intensive care unit to the hospital in stable condition and fully conscious.
Family and friends are requesting prayers for the boy, Harel Yisrael ben Sapir, for a complete and swift recovery.
