Suspected Ebola Case Reported in Israel After Congo Travel
Israel's Ministry of Health announced on Sunday that a person who recently returned from the Democratic Republic of Congo is suspected of having contracted Ebola. The individual arrived back in Israel several days ago and has since developed a fever.
Currently, the case is only a suspicion, with test results expected in the coming days. The individual will be treated under isolation protocols for high-risk infectious diseases.
The patient is being transferred to Hadassah Ein Kerem Medical Center in Jerusalem, which has been designated as one of the specialized centers for handling such suspected cases.
