Israeli Innovation Showcase Held at London Stock Exchange
A joint innovation conference took place yesterday, Wednesday, at the London Stock Exchange, an initiative by the exchange, the economic attaché of the Foreign Trade Administration in the UK, and the Israel Export Institute. The event featured London Stock Exchange CEO Julia Hoggett, Foreign Trade Administration Director Roee Fisher, London Economic Attaché Matan Safran, and senior figures from the investment and technology communities.
Companies and funds presented solutions in cybersecurity, fintech, cleantech, sustainability, and artificial intelligence to investors from the City of London. These investors included multinational corporations, institutional bodies, and funds managing vast sums.
Organizers stated that trade volume between the UK and Israel exceeds six billion pounds sterling. They also noted that British demand for Israeli innovation continues to grow, despite the 'storm' of boycotts.
