Meanwhile, two sources privy to the matter told i24NEWS that the Biden administration was unaware of any specific alert from the UAE before October 7 indicating that Hamas was planning a major offensive. These sources added that even in the aftermath of the October 7 attacks, the Biden administration had not been informed of any such specific warning from the UAE.
These statements follow a report in the Israeli newspaper Haaretz, which stated that approximately ten days before the October 7 massacre, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed had spoken with Prime Minister Netanyahu and cautioned him that Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar was planning a significant move against Israel.
