Cool Weather Ahead of Rosh Hashanah, Temperatures to Normalize

Following a cool day, Israel can expect clear to partly cloudy skies for the upcoming holiday of Rosh Hashanah, according to the Meteorological Service. Tonight, conditions will remain clear to partly cloudy. Tomorrow, the weather will be similar, with a slight drop in temperatures, particularly in the mountains and inland areas, bringing them back to seasonal norms across most of the country.

Looking ahead to Friday, September 11th, the day will be fair after morning clouds dissipate, accompanied by a further slight decrease in temperatures. Saturday, September 12th, will also be fair after morning cloud cover, with temperatures remaining largely unchanged. Sunday, September 13th, will start partly cloudy before clearing up later in the day, with a slight rise in temperatures.

The forecast anticipates a return to seasonal temperatures for Rosh Hashanah, which begins on the evening of September 13th. Expected high temperatures for Friday include Eilat at 29°C (84°F), Ashdod at 23°C (73°F), Beersheba at 20°C (68°F), Beit She'an at 25°C (77°F), Haifa at 23°C (73°F), Tiberias at 23°C (73°F), Jerusalem at 19°C (66°F), Lod at 23°C (73°F), Mitzpe Ramon at 22°C (72°F), Ein Gedi at 28°C (82°F), Afula at 22°C (72°F), Safed at 20°C (68°F), Katzrin at 20°C (68°F), and Tel Aviv-Yafo at 24°C (75°F).
