Haifa Education Chief Tours Kafr Qara Schools, Praises Progress

Sigal Cohen, Director of the Haifa District of the Ministry of Education, conducted a field tour of educational institutions in Kafr Qara on Tuesday. Accompanied by a supervisory team, Cohen visited several schools to observe educational programs and initiatives.

Cohen was welcomed by Kafr Qara Mayor Firas Ahmed Badhi and Sultan Ismail, Director of the Education Department in the municipality, along with school principals and staff. The tour began at Al-A'a Primary School, where Principal Islam Masarwa Othmana showcased the school's educational processes and student development methods. Cohen expressed her appreciation for the school's recent progress and the efforts of its staff.

The delegation then visited Al-Salam Preparatory School, led by Principal Anat Azab. The school's scout troop performed for the visitors. Cohen met with teachers and students, learning about their educational experiences. She highlighted the school's recent Haifa District education award as a testament to its quality and impact.

At the Ahmed Abdullah Yahya High School, Principal Ayman Aghbariya and faculty presented the school's specialized tracks, including electronics, electricity, media, and health sciences. Students demonstrated innovative projects and discussed their academic and career aspirations. Cohen noted the school's focus on linking education with innovation and future skills.

The tour concluded with a visit to the Salam Early Childhood Center. Cohen was impressed by the facility's design, equipment, and readiness, calling it exceptional and among the highest standards she has seen in the Haifa District. She commended the overall educational efforts in Kafr Qara, describing them as a true educational revolution.

Mayor Badhi emphasized the municipality's commitment to education as a priority, stating that investing in people is key to Kafr Qara's development. He affirmed the municipality's continued support for schools and its partnership with the Ministry of Education. Sultan Ismail echoed these sentiments, attributing the schools' achievements to strong collaboration.
