Haifa Education Official Praises Kafr Qara's 'Educational Revolution'
Sigal Cohen, Director of the Haifa District in the Ministry of Education, conducted a field visit to educational institutions in Kafr Qara on September 9, 2026. Accompanied by a supervisory team, Cohen toured several schools to observe educational programs and initiatives.
Cohen visited the "A" Elementary School, where she praised the school's leadership and staff for significant recent developments. She then proceeded to Al-Salam Middle School, which had recently won an education award for the Haifa district. Cohen met with staff and students, learning about their educational experiences and the school's programs.
The tour continued to the Ahmad Abdullah Yahya High School, focusing on specialized tracks like electronics, electricity, media, and health sciences. Students showcased innovative projects and discussed their academic and professional aspirations. Cohen noted the school's emphasis on linking education with innovation and future skills.
The visit concluded at the Salam Early Childhood Center, where Cohen expressed exceptional admiration for the facility's design, equipment, and professional readiness, calling it one of the highest standards she had seen in the Haifa district. She commended Kafr Qara's education teams and the collaboration between the municipality and educational institutions, describing the city's progress as a true educational revolution.
Kafr Qara Mayor Firas Ahmed Badhi stated that education is a top priority, emphasizing investment in people and infrastructure. Sultan Ismail, Director of the Education Department in the municipality, highlighted the achievements as a result of strong partnerships and a commitment to a modern, student-centered educational system.
