Israel's Sixth Submarine to Arrive in Haifa Port Within Days
The sixth submarine belonging to Israel, named INS Drakon, is expected to arrive at the port of Haifa within a few days, according to remarks made by IDF Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi. Kochavi spoke yesterday at the closing ceremony of the naval officers' course at the Sea Corps base in Haifa.
He added that additional advanced naval capabilities will follow the submarine's arrival, including Reshef-class missile ships. These additions, Kochavi stated, will enhance Israel's ability to operate at sea over a wider range, for longer durations, with more lethal firepower, and increased operational strength for years to come.
