Israel Weather Forecast: Slight Heat Drop, Mostly Clear Skies
Israel's Meteorological Service forecasts a slight decrease in temperatures on Wednesday, September 9, though they will remain above seasonal averages. Skies are expected to be mostly clear with patchy fog, particularly in the northwestern Negev.
Highs in Jerusalem will range from 19 to 31 degrees Celsius, while Tel Aviv and Haifa will see temperatures between 24-32 and 23-32 degrees, respectively. Eilat is predicted to reach 27-40 degrees, and Beersheba 21-34 degrees. The Dead Sea coast will experience 28-37 degrees, Ashkelon and Ashdod 23-32 degrees, and Ariel 21-32 degrees.
Temperatures around the Sea of Galilee and Tiberias are expected to be 23-37 degrees, and on the Golan Heights, 20-36 degrees. Water temperature off the Mediterranean coast will be 31 degrees, with wave heights between 50-110 cm.
Wind conditions will include a northwesterly breeze up to 15 km/h along the Mediterranean coast near Tel Aviv and Haifa. Near the Sea of Galilee, the northwesterly wind could reach up to 30 km/h, while in the Eilat Bay area, a northeasterly wind up to 20 km/h is expected.
