Israel Weather Forecast: Hot, Partly Cloudy with Fog Expected
Israel's Meteorological Service forecasts a slight rise in temperatures on Tuesday, September 8, with conditions expected to be hotter than the seasonal average. The day will feature partly cloudy skies and localized fog, particularly in the northwestern Negev region.
Highs will range from the low 30s Celsius in Tel Aviv and Haifa to a scorching 40 degrees Celsius in Eilat. Jerusalem will see temperatures between 19 and 33 degrees Celsius. Other cities and regions, including Ariel, Tiberias, the Sea of Galilee coast, the Dead Sea coast, Ashkelon, Ashdod, and the Golan Heights, will also experience warm to hot conditions.
Sea temperatures along the Mediterranean coast will be between 30-31 degrees Celsius, with wave heights of 50-100 cm. Winds will be predominantly northwesterly along the coast, reaching up to 20 km/h in Tel Aviv and Haifa, and up to 30 km/h near the Sea of Galilee. The Eilat Bay will experience northeasterly winds up to 25 km/h.
Temperatures are expected to decrease slightly on Wednesday. From Thursday through the following Monday, conditions are predicted to remain largely unchanged with partly cloudy skies.
