Neighbor Stabbed After Complaining About Loud Music in Tiberias

A dispute over loud music in Tiberias escalated into a violent assault, resulting in one neighbor being seriously injured and the other facing serious charges. The incident began when the accused played music at a high volume, disturbing his neighbors. A neighbor approached the accused's apartment to request he lower the music.

The simple request led to a heated verbal argument. Later that day, the two men encountered each other again near the building's entrance, and the tension quickly devolved into a severe physical altercation. The accused allegedly headbutted his neighbor and then pulled out a knife, stabbing him multiple times in the abdomen and leg.

Emergency services and police responded to the scene. The victim was evacuated in serious condition, while the assailant fled. Northern District Police conducted an extensive search and arrested the suspect two days later. His detention was extended multiple times as the investigation progressed.

Following the completion of the investigation, the Northern District Prosecutor's Office filed a serious indictment against the suspect in the Nazareth-Nof HaGalil District Court, charging him with causing severe injury under aggravated circumstances. Police stated they will continue to act decisively against acts of violence that endanger public safety.
