Man Critically Injured in Tiberias Shooting Amidst Criminal Disputes
A 30-year-old man is in critical condition after sustaining a gunshot wound on Gdud Barak Street in Tiberias. Emergency medical teams from Magen David Adom (MDA) responded to the scene, finding the victim unconscious with no pulse or breathing. "Upon arrival, we saw a 30-year-old man lying on the ground unconscious. He had no pulse or breathing and had a gunshot wound," stated Vladislav Tishchenko, an MDA motorcycle unit medic. Paramedics performed advanced resuscitation efforts, successfully restoring a pulse before transporting him to Poriya Hospital in intensive care.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident, seeking to determine the circumstances and motive behind the shooting. Preliminary findings suggest the incident is related to criminal rivalries. This event follows a separate police report from the morning of September 9th detailing the arrest of three suspects in connection with a double homicide in Nazareth. These suspects, all young local men aged 21, 21, and 23, are accused of eliminating members of a rival gang.
