Man Charged with Stabbing Neighbor Over Loud Music Dispute
Police in Israel have filed charges against a Tiberias resident accused of stabbing his neighbor during a dispute over loud music. The indictment, submitted to the Nazareth Central Court, alleges the suspect attacked his neighbor with a knife after the neighbor requested he lower the volume of music coming from his home. The incident reportedly began with an argument at the entrance to their building.
The victim sustained serious injuries to his abdomen and leg from the stabbing. Police received a report of the incident on August 25, 2026, and identified the suspect as the victim's neighbor. The suspect was arrested on August 27, 2026, and his detention was extended multiple times pending the indictment.
The Northern District Public Prosecution filed the charges, which include assault and stabbing, stemming from the altercation that escalated from a noise complaint. The legal proceedings will now continue in the Nazareth Central Court.
