Tiberias Man Indicted for Stabbing Neighbor Over Loud Music Dispute

A resident of Tiberias has been indicted for allegedly stabbing his neighbor after a dispute over loud music escalated. The incident occurred on July 25, when police received a report of a stabbing in the city. Responding officers found the victim with serious injuries and launched an investigation.

Investigators determined that the accused had been playing loud music from his home. When his neighbor approached him to request he lower the volume, an argument ensued. Later that day, during a chance encounter at the entrance to their building, the accused allegedly headbutted his neighbor, then pulled out a knife and stabbed him in the abdomen and leg.

The accused fled the scene but was arrested two days later and brought in for questioning. His detention was extended multiple times. On Monday, with the investigation concluded, the Northern District Attorney's office filed an indictment against him in the Nazareth-Karmiel District Court for aggravated grievous bodily harm.

In a separate incident last Friday, a resident of Ashdod was arrested on suspicion of breaking into his neighbors' apartment armed with a large kitchen knife and pepper spray, attacking and threatening those present following a noise dispute. Witnesses reported the suspect became enraged by loud music, including songs by singer Eyal Golan, emanating from the apartment's balcony. Footage from the event captured the suspect shouting, "Who's playing Eyal Golan?" before spraying pepper spray. During the confrontation, one resident sustained a cut to his hand from the suspect's knife.
