Six-Year-Old Girl Critically Injured After Being Hit by Car in Negev
A six-year-old girl was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle in Ar'ara al-Naqab, a Bedouin town in the Negev desert. Emergency medical services received the report at approximately 2:19 PM on Tuesday.
Paramedics treated the girl at the scene after she was brought to the Magen David Adom (MDA) station in Ar'ara al-Naqab. She was conscious but disoriented and suffering from multiple systemic injuries.
MDA teams provided her with medical care and transported her via intensive care ambulance to Soroka Medical Center in Be'er Sheva. Her condition was described as serious.
"They brought the girl to us when she was disoriented and suffering from multiple systemic injuries after they told us she was hit by a car," said MDA emergency medical technician Younes Al-Amour. "We provided her with medical treatment and evacuated her in an MDA intensive care unit to the hospital in serious condition."
