Child Critically Injured After Hit-and-Run in Ar'arat Al-Naqab
A young girl is in serious condition after being struck by a vehicle in the Bedouin town of Ar'arat Al-Naqab on Tuesday evening. Paramedics from Magen David Adom (MDA) responded to the scene and transported the child to Soroka Hospital in Be'er Sheva.
According to paramedic Younis Al-Omour, the girl arrived at the MDA station with severe, multiple injuries and in a partial coma. He stated that her life-threatening condition necessitated immediate, life-saving field treatment before she was taken to the hospital via intensive care ambulance.
Al-Omour emphasized the severity of her injuries and the added complexity of her partial coma, noting that such cases require intensive care and comprehensive examinations to assess damage to vital organs. Doctors at Soroka Hospital are continuing efforts to save her life, while her family and the community await updates in a state of anxiety.
