Netanyahu Plans to Secure Commentator Yaakov Bardugo on Likud List
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu intends to reserve a spot on the Likud party's Knesset list for commentator Yaakov Bardugo. Among those secured are Talik Guili, mother of fallen officer Rani Guili, at the ninth spot, and wounded IDF reservist Elicha Madan at the eleventh spot.
Other reserved candidates include retired Brigadier General Amir Aviv, founder of the 'Bistachonim' movement, and attorney David Peter, an expert in constitutional and public law. Former Knesset Member Eli Goldschmidt, who previously served with the Labor party, has also been added to the list, reportedly after a change of heart regarding security and political stances following the October 7th events.
