Mother of Fallen Soldier Joins Likud Party
The Likud party announced that Talik Guili, the mother of Border Police officer Rani Guili, who fell on October 7th and whose body was taken to Gaza, will join the party as a 'protected candidate'. Rani Guili was killed fighting on October 7th despite being injured. He is credited with saving many lives before his death, and his body was initially abducted. His remains were later returned to Israel in an IDF operation named 'Brave Heart'.
According to the Likud's statement, Talik Guili has demonstrated strength and faith throughout her ordeal, promoting her son's heroism and Zionist values, which have resonated with many Israelis.
