Dor Alon Suspects Employees Stole NIS 40 Million
Energy company Dor Alon has reported a suspected large-scale theft totaling approximately NIS 40 million (about $10.8 million USD) from several of its fueling stations, allegedly perpetrated by company employees. The company informed the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange and the Israel Securities Authority of the suspected fraud, which appears to have occurred primarily over the past two years.
Following the discovery, Dor Alon hired an external investigation firm and filed a formal complaint with the police. The company is currently assessing the potential impact of the incident on its financial statements and determining if accounting adjustments will be necessary based on the ongoing investigation's findings.
