Hapoel Tel Aviv Celebrates Dominant Win Ahead of Derby Clash

Hapoel Tel Aviv secured a resounding 4-0 victory over Hapoel Ramat Gan, boosting their confidence significantly before their upcoming derby match against Maccabi Tel Aviv. The team aimed to deliver a convincing performance to build momentum for the crucial top-of-the-table encounter.

During the first half, Hapoel Tel Aviv experienced some difficulty in creating scoring opportunities, but they gradually took control of the game as it progressed, generating more chances and dominating play. Coach Eliniv Barda praised the substitutes for maintaining the team's intensity and level of play after entering the match.

Additionally, Barda commended Shahar Piven for his first start of the season, noting that his performance was not taken for granted given his dedication in training. Piven stepped in after Marcus Coco suffered a hamstring injury, which, despite requiring rest, is not expected to prevent him from playing in the derby.

Douglas Owusu also received significant praise from the club, with officials stating, "It took him a little time to show his abilities in training, and there is no doubt that he is a star." The club highlighted his eventual impact after an initial adjustment period.
