Five IDF soldiers were wounded on Wednesday morning by two explosive drones in southern Lebanon, including one in serious condition, two in moderate condition and two lightly hurt. The first drone exploded near a Givati Brigade force operating in the area under the IDF's 36th Division, injuring four soldiers.
After a rescue team arrived, a second explosive drone was launched at the evacuation force. One more soldier was wounded in that attack. All five were evacuated to hospitals, and their families were notified.
The report also said IDF forces operating inside the so-called Yellow Line in Lebanon are continuing normal operations for now, despite the emerging U.S.-Iran agreement. According to the article, troops are still destroying terror infrastructure, and the standing combat order remains to fire to kill if militants are encountered.
The gap between reports of a deal and the absence of updated instructions has created uncertainty among the forces. One soldier in the sector said, "We have not lowered the level of alert. We are still operating as if the threat is at our doorstep, exactly as before. We are skeptical and waiting to see what happens."
