Reality Star Sapir Bar Gila Details Traumatic Year in New Documentary
Reality television personality Sapir Bar Gila is set to reveal the difficult experiences of the past year in a new documentary titled "Sapir Bar Gila - The Hardest Year of My Life," airing on Reshet 13 on Monday. The film will present her perspective on her relationship and subsequent divorce proceedings with fellow "Big Brother" contestant Avraham Eklom.
Bar Gila shared in a preview that she was initially unsure about sharing her story, anticipating that viewers would be shocked by what she endured. She stated, "I'm not looking for pity, I'm not looking to come out as a victim. I chose to be in the situation, I chose to normalize many things, I chose to ignore many red flags. I also bear some blame."
Approximately a year ago, Bar Gila filed a complaint against Eklom, whom she met on the reality show. She accused him of physical violence, threats, and alleged sexual harassment. In June, the couple was officially notified that the case had been closed.
Eklom responded to the documentary's release via his Instagram account, stating he would not participate in what he called a "circus" and accusing others of spreading malice and attempting to harm his name even after the prosecution closed the case. He added, "I will not cooperate with provocations, cameras, and media noise. Certainly not on my back and my name. Thank you all for the support during these difficult days."
