Reality Star Sapir Bar Gili Details Traumatic Year in New Documentary
Reality television personality Sapir Bar Gili will reveal the full details of a difficult year in her life in a new documentary titled "Sapir Bar Gili - The Hardest Year of Her Life," airing Monday evening on Channel 13.
In a preview of the film, Bar Gili warns viewers that they will be shocked by what she endured, expressing uncertainty about whether she should even share her experiences. "I wasn't sure this movie would happen, I wasn't sure I wanted to tell what I went through," she said, her voice trembling. "I'm going to say something here and very, very, very difficult things."
Bar Gili emphasized that she is not seeking pity or portraying herself as a victim. Instead, she takes responsibility for some of the situations that led to her difficult period, admitting, "I chose to be in the situation, I chose to normalize many things, I chose to turn off many lights that were there. I also have blame."
Her past year was particularly challenging, marked by a tumultuous breakup with her ex-fiancé, Avraham Aklum, also a "Big Brother" contestant. They married after the show but separated under difficult circumstances. Approximately a year ago, Bar Gili filed a police complaint against Aklum on suspicion of a serious sexual offense, leading to a criminal investigation. The case was closed by the prosecution several months ago, with Aklum's attorney stating they welcomed the "just decision that put an end to a difficult period in Avraham's life."
The documentary is expected to expose the reality behind the scenes of fame and public life, presenting a more complex picture of Bar Gili's recent experiences. As she herself warns, the details revealed may be deeply disturbing to viewers.
