Palestinian Attacker Killed After Stabbing Israeli Near West Bank Settlement
Hebrew media reported a stabbing attack near the settlement of Otzarin in the West Bank on Tuesday. Police stated that a report was received about a person sustaining moderate to serious injuries from a stabbing in the Havat Maoz Yehuda area, close to Otzarin. Initial reports indicated that police forces were en route to the scene.
Subsequently, Hebrew media announced the death of the attacker, who was reportedly killed after attempting to stab soldiers. The attacker's vehicle was found inside the village of Idna. According to reports, the assailant attempted to attack soldiers before being neutralized by gunfire from a brigade commander. No Israeli forces were reported injured in the incident.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a statement following the attack, asserting, "There is no refuge for any terrorist." He commended the soldiers who engaged and neutralized the perpetrator, adding, "I wish a full recovery to the farmer who was injured in the attack." Netanyahu reiterated that anyone attempting to threaten Israel and its citizens "will pay a heavy price."
